Complete your first top-down sock in this class. We will be creating a sample sock about 2” x 2”, learning all the basics of sock-making and the architecture of a sock. Learn techniques including stretchy cast-on, joining in the round, heel flap, K2TOG, SSK, turning the heel, picking up gusset stitches and stitching the gusset, decreasing the toe, and finishing the sock with the kitchener stitch. Once you are done, you can apply all these techniques to creating your own first pair of socks. Class fee includes your yarn, needles and a pattern for you to make an adult size pair of socks.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Knitter (know how to knit, purl)
